Dear Tushar,

A mug of tea in a comfortable chair. A hand to hold when the room is spinning. A familiar face waiting for you at the end of a very long day of treatment.

When you’re fighting for your life and seeking treatment far from home, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge facilities provide a place to stay, free of charge, while patients and their caregivers focus on the most important thing: Getting well.

Being away from home is never easy—so we’re preparing a card for patients and caregivers to let them know they’re in our thoughts. Can you take a moment to sign our card? We’ll deliver the card to the tens of thousands of patients and loved ones who visit our American Cancer Society Hope Lodge facilities every year.
Sending Strength
American Cancer Society Hope Lodge communities are warm, inviting places with staff and volunteers to help patients during their treatment journey. From rides to major cancer centers for treatment, comfortable rooms that feel like home, to any other support they might need during their stay, a night at a Hope Lodge means one less thing to worry about when you’re focused on getting better.

Yet some Hope Lodge guests travel hundreds—even thousands—of miles away from home to get the treatment they need. A warm note of support and welcome would make a big difference to patients and their family members in some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Will you help us make sure our Hope Lodge patients and caregivers know we’re thinking of them?

Sign our card today. Hope Lodge patients and caregivers will be so touched to know so many people are thinking of them.

Thanks for adding your name—we can’t wait to deliver the cards!

Sincerely,

Your American Cancer Society
