Today is National Doctors' Day

Each year on March 30, the nation celebrates Doctors' Day.

At Glaucoma Research Foundation, we are thankful for all the physicians, optometrists and healthcare staff dedicated to providing quality care to glaucoma patients.

Make a gift today to honor your doctor or someone special who has made a difference in your life.

To make a tax-deducible contribution online, visit www.glaucoma.org/donate and be sure to complete the "Make this Gift a Tribute" section with the honoree's address. We will notify them of your thoughtful tribute.

Your meaningful donation will help us to advance innovative research programs and also support our efforts to provide helpful and accurate information to doctors, patients, and caregivers.

Sincerely,

Everyday Heroes!

APRIL 5, 2018
7:30AM-9:30AM  |  Sheraton Framingham

Join us for breakfast as we honor the everyday heroes who quietly make a difference for the United Way of Tri-County and the communities we serve.

Introducing Keynote Speaker
Catherine Marenghi

This year, our keynote speaker is local author Catherine Marenghi who wrote the memoir Glad Farm.  Catherine was born in Framingham and grew up in poverty in Milford, MA with her loving parents and four siblings, who fell on hard times when their gladiolus farm failed.  For her first 18 years, Catherine and her family lived in a one room house her father built with no indoor plumbing. With the programs and services she and her family received, she was able to rise out of severe poverty and become a successful business women and writer.  Graduating from Milford High School, Catherine was class valedictorian and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University.  She will share her story of sadness and hope, and talk about the heroes in her life who helped her reach her dreams.
