| | The fight to end Alzheimer's unites us because it's the fight of our lives. | | | | | Dear Tushar,
You still have time to take advantage of our Autumn $100,000 2X Match Challenge and this is your opportunity to make DOUBLE the impact in our work to end Alzheimer's disease.
The fight to end this global health crisis unites us as Americans because it's the fight of all of our lives. We all know families who have been affected. And we may all face Alzheimer's ourselves one day, unless we do everything we can now to invest in prevention, treatment and a potential cure.
Are you ready to make 2X the difference to enhance care and support to people living with Alzheimer's and help fund vital research?
You see, Tushar, as impressive as the response to this match challenge has been so far, we still haven't reached our match goal. That means your help is still urgently needed to unlock this match before October 11. A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged $100,000 in matching funds with the power to double your impact. But this match is only around for a few more days.
Hurry and give now, while you still have the opportunity to make your gift — up to $100,000 — go 2X as far to advance our crucial work to fight this devastating disease. Please take your interest to the next level by becoming an active supporter of the Alzheimer's Association and making your first gift.
| Your gift today can go 2X as far to help provide care and support and advance research that may one day rid the world of this devastating thief of a disease. | | Now more than ever, the millions of people living with Alzheimer's, along with their caregivers, need our unconditional and unwavering support. We can't let anyone face this devastating disease alone.
Thanks to you, the Alzheimer's Association continues to provide help through our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and trusted online tools, such as our E-Learning workshops offering free courses to learn more about the disease, and ALZ Connected®, a forum where caregivers and people living with Alzheimer's can share concerns and support.
Your help also ensures that everyone who needs it has access to local resources and in-person support groups within their community.
Research that is taking place now can lead to new diagnostic tools, treatments and, one day, a cure. You may have read about some of the encouraging research announcements that have been made in recent years, including investigations we've funded.
You may also have read the news from earlier this year that the president signed into law a $289 million increase in federal Alzheimer's and dementia research, including $25 million to implement the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act, which will strengthen public health infrastructure to improve early Alzheimer's detection, diagnosis and risk reduction.
Those resources will make a tremendous difference. Every dollar does. But continued funding is the key, along with our strong support ensuring all those living with Alzheimer's get the care and support they need.
You understand how important this work is, and I appreciate how much you care about the fight against this devastating disease. I urge you to make your first gift today while it can achieve 2X the impact.
Please support our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Thank you.
Sincerely, Liz Adams Chief Development Officer P.S. Every donation we receive during this match challenge brings us closer to our $100,000 goal and helps fund vital research and provide care and support. Your gift today can be matched 2X to make an even more powerful difference in this vital fight for life and health. Please make your best gift now.
