The United Way of Tri-County is proud to celebrate 90 years of service, impact, and community partnership! Since 1935, we've been committed to improving lives and strengthening neighborhoods across the region. As we honor this incredible milestone, we invite you to follow us on social media where we’ll be sharing memorable moments from our past. Celebrate with us by taking a trip down memory lane—don’t miss a single story!

A day of golfing at Hopkinton Country Club raised $50,000 for the United Way of Tri-County's (UWOTC) direct services.

Congratulations go out to the foursome from Rockwell Roofing for winning this year's 2025 United Way Golf Classic, presented by Avidia Bank, with an impressive score of 14 under par. But hats—or should we say, visors—off to all 140+ participants who teed off to support the communities we serve.

Gus the Grocery Bus, has added a new stop, and the number of meals we serve to MetroWest residents is multiplying exponentially.

We're proud that “Gus,” a Winnebago RV turned popup food pantry, has allowed us to distribute over 14,000 meals in Marlborough since late April. A portion comes from Jo-Len Village, a 55+ resident-owned mobile home community on the city's East side that we added to Gus' route in July.

More than 900 children from all across MetroWest and Greater Clinton have brand new, fully stocked backpacks thanks to the United Way of Tri-County's (UWOTC) Tools for School program.

In August, 934 backpacks and essential supplies were distributed through 14 different agencies this year. Thanks to donations both big and small and help from our many volunteers, students from lower-income families are starting out the year on a level playing field, ready to learn.

Feeling Alone After 55? Framingham Support Group Offers Connection, Comfort, and Community

If you're 55+ and feeling lonely, Call2Talk's free, in-person support group, Senior Connections, can help. Through laughs, honest conversations and informative presentations, participants realize they are not alone.

The group meets once a month in the United Way building at 46 Park St. in Framingham. Facilitator, Bob Crook, a longtime Call2Talk volunteer and a senior himself, said it helps to know others feel the same way.

Pearl Street Cupboard & Café

Marlborough Community Cupboard

Many thanks to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Framingham, Massachusetts & specifically Darlene, who organized this donation of food to our Pearl Street Cupboard & Café and very creatively made these reusable bags out of old feed sacks and other packaging. So clever and crafty! We’ll be glad to pass these bags on to our clients. Know this generous donation is very much appreciated! uwotc.org/pearl

Look at this beautiful garden-fresh produce that came in today. Thanks to the generosity and hard work of the volunteer “worker bees” and people behind Pine Hill Meadow Garden, a charity garden project in Southborough.Within minutes after Lisa dropped off the garden haul, our amazing MCC volunteers had sorted the vegetables and were distributing them to our grateful clients.
