Greetings,
The United Way of Tri-County invites you to participate in the 2026 Hope for the Holidays giving program.
This year, perhaps more than any other year in recent memory, more people are seeking assistance in the MetroWest/495 Corridor. They include many of our friends, colleagues, and neighbors. This holiday season many will be left homeless, hungry, and cold.
Throughout the years, the United Way of Tri-County, with your help, has been able to supply gifts, clothing, food, and Hope to thousands of individuals and families, but we cannot do it without you. Your partnership is essential to providing Hope for the Holidays.
The program is focused on the children of struggling families. With help of our community partners, we have identified specific requests of families that cannot afford to have gifts for their children this year. We will provide you the recipient’s first name, age, gender, and wish list that will include three gifts with a value of $100 or less. The deadline for United Way to receive your gifts for the sponsored children is December 11th. If you can help, please see how below.
- Sponsor a Family or Child - We will provide you with the recipient’s first name, age, gender, and wish list that will include three gifts. Substitutions for gifts are accepted. Or you can visit www.uwotc.org/hope and sponsor children. Deadline is December 11th.
- Conduct a toy drive in your place of business. We ask that all toys be unwrapped and dropped off in a central location for those who wish to participate. The deadline on toy drives would be December 11th.
- Financial assistance. We are also requesting financial donations. This will enable United Way to purchase gifts for those families who are not “sponsored” within our program. Credit card donations can be made via our website at www.uwotc.org/hope or through our text-to-donate option by texting H4H to 40403
- Volunteer. We need volunteers to help us sort and match gift requests with donations or assist us with pick-up and deliveries. If anyone would like to volunteer, please call (508-370-4902), or email barbara.lagrenade@uwotc.org.
Your help will provide hope for children and families who are struggling to find magical moments this holiday season.
We have attached our program guidelines and a FAQ sheet for your information. For more information or questions, please contact Barbara LaGrenade, at 508-370-4902 or email barbara.lagrenade@uwotc.org.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration in this matter.
Thank you for helping us provide Hope for the Holidays.
