Where you live could keep you from getting the cancer treatment you need.
It seems unbelievable, but for many cancer patients, the cost of traveling to a treatment center is simply out of reach. Hotels, gas, plane tickets—it all adds up.
That's why the American Cancer Society provides free or reduced-cost lodging near treatment centers, gives patients free rides to cancer-related appointments, and connects patients to local resources.
A lot of people will need our help next year. We've set a goal for 15,000 donors to step up and give by December 31 so that the last thing on a cancer patient's mind is how they'll afford getting to treatment. Can we count on you to be there?

| | | • | More than 10,000 Road To Recovery volunteer drivers ready to take patients around the corner or all the way across town because like us, they know that where you live shouldn't determine whether you can get the best care.
| | | • | Our cancer information hotline, manned by trained specialists 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, means that no question is too small and no time too inconvenient because having accurate, helpful information can save lives.
| The most amazing part of all these programs? They put us face to face with the incredibly brave men, women, and children fighting cancer every single day.
