That number has grown, thanks in large part to Harris' efforts. She became an advocate to honor her mother, who lived with the disease: "I share my voice for those who cannot." The drug, suvorexant, was found to improve total sleep time for people living with Alzheimer's and insomnia as compared to a placebo.
