The shift reaches ordinary AI features too. Anything that chains model calls into multi-step work inherits the same failure classes. Building Agentic Systems on AWS turns them into teachable patterns: on-demand technical guides and workshops on orchestration, state that survives sessions and restarts, failure recovery, human approval gates, and evaluation that tests whether a change made the agent worse. Start with the agent series in AWS Marketplace. 🧑‍💻 Articles & Tutorials The five components of building a "company harness" (6 minute read) LangChain's internal agents share five components: Slack interfaces, scoped credentials, shared and personal memory, sandboxed execution, and scheduled runs. Memory remains the least solved piece. Claude Code skills for teams: what to move out of CLAUDE.md (5 minute read) Keep always-needed rules in CLAUDE.md and move task-specific procedures into skills that load on demand. Restrict deployment and other side-effecting skills to manual use, with reviewed tool permissions. How Meta Built Forum With AI-Native Engineering (9 minute read) Meta built Forum by having agents plan, implement, test, and correct changes while engineers set goals and approved results. A small team reached Facebook Groups feature parity in eight weeks. 🧠 Opinions & Advice Hunger Beats Tenure: Advice for Junior Engineers (5 minute read) Junior engineers can gain influence by building one focused prototype tied to a business goal. Fresh eyes help challenge assumptions that experienced teammates have stopped questioning. Are fixed user flows becoming obsolete? (11 minute read) Intent-driven UX adapts flows to a user's goal, context, and behavior. Designers define the rules and boundaries, including confirmations, undo, and fallbacks when the system misreads intent. AI Promised Less Work. I Have Never Worked More (7 minute read) Cheaper implementation makes more projects worth starting, but reviewing agent output and switching contexts still consume attention. A personal GitHub activity analysis traces cycles of increased output and burnout as that workload grows. 🚀 Launches & Tools Cloud VM, tampered browser, no automation flags: fraud or Meta's Muse? (Sponsor) Generic risk rules can't tell you which is which – and one of them is a paying customer. Fortunately, Fingerprint detects Muse by name (bot_type: "meta_muse") so you can decide exactly what it's allowed to do. Start identifying your AI traffic for free with Fingerprint. Ghostty 1.4 (Website) Ghostty 1.4 adds complete Kitty graphics support, security fixes, and faster terminal I/O. Scrollback compression cuts physical memory use by 70% to 90% for typical text-heavy history. Expo Agent CLI (7 minute read) Expo's experimental CLI helps agents choose the right build, launch an app, and smoke-test it. Structured output and runtime inspection help agents diagnose failures. Apple Introduces the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 (8 minute read) The new 14-inch MacBook Pro adds a 12-core CPU and GPU, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6. Apple claims up to 30% faster Xcode builds than M5.
