Honoring a father by walking to fight Alzheimer's
In 2015, David Young's father called to tell him he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Young tried to act surprised, but he had noticed signs of his father's memory issues for years. Young and his family participate in theAlzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research, as a way of fighting the disease together.

Dear Tushar,
You know the fight to end Alzheimer's disease is urgent. So is your support of our Alzheimer's Association 2018 Annual Fund Drive, one of our most important fundraising drives of the year.

Today, we need friends like you to step forward and make a generous gift. Our Annual Fund Drive ends on August 31 at 11:59 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity to join us in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease. Tushar, will you help?

Your gift will help further our mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Did you know that Alzheimer's is the only cause of death among the top 10 in America that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed? Unless we make significant progress, as many as 14 million Americans may be living with Alzheimer's by 2050. We need to change this.

We can't slow down or take a break in the fight to end Alzheimer's. Can I count on you to give before our August 31 deadline? Please support our 2018 Annual Fund Drive by making your gift of $35, $60, $120 or more now.

Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's. We can reach that goal only if we work together.

Thank you,
Donna McCullough

Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
