Reminder: Local families in need!

Dear Tushar,

For our neighbors at risk, hunger and the feeling of not having enough to eat is felt even more deeply during the holidays.

Mihaela’s husband works hard at his construction job, but with a 2 year old at home and a new baby on the way the single income is not enough for their growing family. Mihaela visits a United Way of Tri-County food pantry where once a month she receives fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, meat, canned goods, cereal, and even diapers for her daughter Alice.

“I’m glad we found out about the food pantry,” Mihaela said
while waiting in line for her groceries. “Having a help like this is
huge for a new mother.”

A holiday meal is a luxury most of our clients cannot afford, so Mihaela signed up for the United Way of Tri-County's Feed-A-Family program. Through the generosity of our donors Mihaela and her family will receive a complete holiday meal to cook at home and enjoy with her growing family.

This year, your generous support is crucial. Only with your help can we assist families like Mihaela’s access the food they need to thrive. Each donation of $50 will provide a struggling family with a complete holiday meal with all the trimmings. With over 3,000 families expected this year we hope you will consider helping as many families as possible.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
