On our blog, Feherty says that while everyone approaches the disease in different ways, he feels it’s important for families to try to retain their sense of humor. Take precautions when traveling with someone living with Alzheimer's A person living with Alzheimer's or another dementia may be able to participate in meaningful activities such as travel. However, it does require planning to ensure safety and enjoyment for everyone.
