2021 Annual Fund Drive
Dear Tushar,
Our 2021 Annual Fund Drive ends tomorrow at midnight. And we still haven't heard from you. With your help, we can accelerate vital research that can one day lead to a cure and provide care and support to people facing Alzheimer's, their families and caregivers — in your community and mine.

It's not too late to give to our 2021 Annual Fund Drive, but it will be soon. I know you've shown an interest in our ongoing fight to end Alzheimer's disease by participating in our community, and I'm hoping I can ask you to give today — before the deadline tomorrow. Please make your first gift now.

Our 2021 Annual Fund Drive is one of our highest priorities. It must be. We've been investing in research, care and support all year, and we need to raise additional funds now. We can't take summers off.

I'm asking for your summer gift so we can continue our urgent work. Your donation today can help:
  • Provide care and support services to the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and their over 11 million caregivers.
  • Make an impact through Alzheimer's studies and investigations.
  • Lead novel research efforts for Alzheimer's and dementia.
  • Advocate for additional research funding from our government since we all must work together to achieve a cure.
Donate Now

Tushar, you've shown that you care about our work to end Alzheimer's by joining our community, which is why I'm reaching out during our 2021 Annual Fund Drive that ends at midnight tomorrow.

(ENDS SOON) Our 2021 Annual Fund Drive

You only have a few days left to be part of our 2021 Annual Fund Drive.

2021 Annual Fund Drive
Dear Tushar,
August is drawing to a close — along with our 2021 Annual Fund Drive. Can we count on your support to make this crucial drive a success? By lending a hand today, you'll help us provide care and support, advance critical Alzheimer's disease research, and advocate for the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's.

As always, I'm very grateful for the strong interest you've shown in our fight to end Alzheimer's disease. This year, we've been inspired by believers like you to strengthen our impact and commitment to research and to provide care and support to all those living with and affected by Alzheimer's.

But we can't stop now. We can't take summers off — because lives are at risk. Alzheimer's disease is destroying our families, our finances and our future. We must continue our efforts all year, and that means we must now lean on you for help.
2021 Annual Fund Drive
Your support moves us closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, and by 2050, this number is projected to increase to 13 million.

No one can be 100% safe from Alzheimer's. And the older we get, the more our risk increases. One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia — and they're our neighbors, our friends, even our family members.

It takes a whole community working together to fight Alzheimer's. From researchers, working around the world with funding from the Alzheimer's Association to family members, caregivers and community members providing care and support — it takes all of us. We can't do it without you. You only have a few days left before our 2021 Annual Fund Drive ends on August 31. Will you please help?

Your support during our 2021 Annual Fund Drive furthers our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support all year long.

Sincerely,

Donna McCullough

P.S. You know that research can't — and won't — stop for summer. Neither can our efforts to provide care and support. Our 2021 Annual Fund Drive ends in a few days, so please don't delay — make your gift today. Thank you very much.

2021 Annual Fund Drive
Dear Tushar,
I know you're a special member of our community and that our fight to end Alzheimer's disease is very important to you. I truly appreciate your commitment.

I want to make sure you've heard about our 2021 Annual Fund Drive. You only have five days left to be part of it. Our 2021 Annual Fund Drive supports our vital care and support programs while helping us accelerate best-of-field research in 39 countries, and we need you with us.

The funds we raise during our 2021 Annual Fund Drive are critical to pushing our efforts forward until the end of the year. I appreciate your commitment to the fight to end Alzheimer's, which is why I'm asking you to be part of our 2021 Annual Fund Drive.

Your support will help accelerate vital research and provide care and support to those facing Alzheimer's disease.

From research to care and from support to advocacy, our work can't continue without your help.

Your support is crucial to advancing our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

And that's critical, Tushar. Today, Alzheimer's is the nation's largest under-recognized public health crisis, killing more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.

Many people don't realize that more than 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people living with Alzheimer's or other dementias. Last year, they provided 15.3 billion hours of care valued at nearly $257 billion.

Taking time off, even during the summer, is a challenge for many caregivers. Their brave, compassionate, tireless efforts inspire us to continue our work — during the summer and all through the year. But we need your help.

We only have five days left before our 2021 Annual Fund Drive ends on August 31. You've become part of our community — and I'm so grateful. Will you please take your interest in our work to the next level by making your first gift during our 2021 Annual Fund Drive today?

Enjoy the summer. And I hope you know how essential your support is in the fight to end Alzheimer's. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Donna McCullough

A mentally stimulating job may help reduce dementia risk
Results of a new study show that on-the-job intellectual stimulation appears to lower levels of certain proteins that block brain cells from forming new connections, which researchers say could help prevent or postpone dementia. Experts caution that the results don’t prove that a mentally stimulating job prevents dementia, only that a connection may exist.
