Senior Star is raising money for Quad Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s™
Senior Star at Elmore Place along is passionate about taking action in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Their goal this year is to raise over $35,500 for the Quad Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s™. They have over 25 Walk team members, and they host a volleyball tournament, Comedy for a Cause night and bake sales, etc. throughout the year. Mikayla Fisher
Mikayla Fisher is an awesome Walk committee member, Champion Walker and is part of Parker Place - the largest team for the Cedar Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s™. She said, “I walk for my Memory Care residents and family members, past and present, who live every day with the disease. I want to be an example and a voice for those who can no longer be advocates for themselves. I will continue to walk until there is a cure!”
