Dear Tushar,
November is National Family Caregivers Month, when we honor the more than 15 million Americans who care for friends or family members with Alzheimer's disease.

But at the Alzheimer's Association, we do more than honor them. We provide critical resources and support services — because Alzheimer's caregivers should never feel alone.

If you know someone who is caring for a friend or family member with Alzheimer's, please encourage them to visit our Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiver Center, with message boards, care training and resources. And please share the number for our toll-free 24/7 Helpline, 800.272.3900, with anyone that might need it.

You can help in other ways as well. Maybe you can give a caregiver a two-hour break, or a lunch, run to the grocery or drug store, or just make a call of friendship. Caregivers often feel isolated, and your gestures of support and kindness will make a difference.

You're part of our community, and we are grateful for your support. Please consider making a gift today to help honor and support caregivers, and to help further our mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

It isn't easy being a caregiver. This month, please help honor all those who care for those with Alzheimer's. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Donna McCullough
Chief Development Officer
