View it in your browser Dear Tushar, Each year, the Alzheimer's Association publishes our Alzheimer's Disease Facts and Figures report to help make every American aware of the growing threat of the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States.   Today, on the first day of Giving Week, I want to highlight some of the numbers for you: More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease. In addition, there are currently 16 million caregivers providing unpaid care. By 2050, the number of people living with the disease may grow to nearly 14 million. Between 2000 and 2015, deaths from Alzheimer's have increased by 123 percent. Please make your Giving Week donation now and help us meet our $25,000 goal. Your gift will support our mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
