Dear Tushar,
As a scientist dedicated to the fight against Alzheimer's disease, I can tell you first-hand that Alzheimer's has been an incredibly complex foe for those of us who've dedicated our careers to this field. But now more than ever, we're zeroing in on the best approaches to fight this disease. This is in large part due to the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association to bring together scientists from around the world to share research advances and ideas.

Alzheimer's is an escalating global health crisis, and your support of the Alzheimer's Association makes all of our efforts to fight this disease possible — from providing care and support to those affected to opening new doors in the world of research.

Next week, as we bring together the best and brightest minds in Alzheimer's and dementia research from around the world at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference® 2018 (AAIC®) in Chicago, I'm writing to ask for your support of this and all our work with a gift today.

Having worked as a researcher, I can tell you the importance and influence of collaboration in our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. There are many scientists who can only attend one conference a year, and they choose to attend this one. The knowledge shared at AAIC is irreplaceable. This significant gathering simply wouldn't be possible without the support of friends like you.

By making a gift today, you will support our mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Next week — and every day — the Alzheimer's Association accelerates research toward treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure. But we can't do it without your help.

Sincerely,

Keith Fargo, Ph.D.

P.S. The research discoveries we discuss at AAIC 2018 — and future breakthroughs on the horizon — are crucial in the fight to end Alzheimer's. But we need your support to keep making progress. Please make your most generous gift today to advance our efforts in care, support and research. Thank you.

Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
