Thank you!

How could we serve the community day in and day out without the help of volunteers? We couldn't.
Every day across our organization we have no fewer than 50 volunteers.

They stock shelves, prepare and serve meals, file paperwork, pickup donations, answer hotline calls, help at events, and so much more.

They don't do it for praise or financial gain. Our volunteers regularly tell us it’s the people. The clients they help, the volunteers they meet, and the staff who truly appreciate the work they do. They do it because they enjoy giving something back to the community and making a difference in the lives of people around them.

Giving back has many rewards, but never more so than today with all that is happening around the world. Doing good and spreading hope is important. It fills us with a sense of community and connects us to people where we live and work. We know at the United Way of Tri-County that volunteers are not only the lifeline of our organization, they are some of our best advocates for the work that we do.

Last week was National Volunteer Week and we want to take a moment to thank our dedicated volunteers. YOU are the changemakers. YOU make the work we do possible.
