Wednesday, October 4, 2017
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church - Urbandale

This workshop will offer helpful tips to assist families with difficult conversations related to dementia, including going to the doctor, deciding when to stop driving,  making legal and financial plans, and changing personalities. The fear or lack of awareness that often accompanies having these conversations and dealing with changing behaviors can result in delays that have serious consequences for the entire family.

Legal & Financial Planning for the Future
Wednesday, October 18, 2017
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Lakeside Hotel & Casino - Osceola

The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease makes planning for the future more important than ever. Concerns about care provision and programs that can help offset costs mean that families need accurate information about legal and financial planning specific to the disease. This workshop will assist with topics related to planning for the future.

Both workshops are FREE to attend but you must RSVP online at alz.org/greateriowa or by calling 800.272.3900.
